Providing the website

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, acting on our behalf as a processor (Article 28 GDPR).

When you visit a page, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data, including your IP address, access time, browser information and requested files. This enables delivery and protection of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is reliable and secure website operation.

Connection data is processed only for as long as required to provide and protect the website. Retention and deletion of access logs depend on the hosting configuration in use and the relevant security purpose.

Contact and applications

If you contact us, we process the information you provide to handle your enquiry. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to pre-contractual or contractual enquiries, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to other enquiries. We process application data to decide on an employment relationship under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). We delete application documents no later than six months after the application process has ended, unless you have consented to longer storage.

Please note that emails are generally transmitted unencrypted. If you prefer not to send confidential documents by email, you can also send them to us by post.

We delete the data once the relevant purpose no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests require further storage, in particular to establish or defend legal claims.

Cookies and external services

This website uses no analytics or marketing services and does not itself set cookies. Images and scripts are served from our own web server; no external fonts are loaded. Google Maps, YouTube, StepStone and project websites are provided solely as links. The external website is accessed only when you open its link; the respective provider's policies then apply.

Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the following rights:
